The ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail.

The oldest record dates back to ancient Egypt, however it has appeared throughout many cultures around the world leading many Jungian psychologists to believe it is a part of the collective subconscious of humanity. The symbol has many deep meanings that connect to the cyclical nature of life, time, the universe and all of reality.
